Dog Foster Parent
Opening your home gives a dog in need stability, love, and the confidence to find their forever family.
​Responsibilities

Provide daily care: feeding, exercise, basic training, and socialization

Monitor health and behavior, reporting any concerns to our team.

Coordinate video calls with potential adopters

Transport to and from vetting appointments and transport

​​Requirements
-
Secure, pet-friendly environment. Fenced yard not required.

Ability to commit to foster stays until the dog is adopted

Age 21 or older and located in San Antonio, Houston, Austin (or surrounding areas)

Dog Transporter
Ensure safe journeys for dogs traveling to veterinary appointments, foster homes, or adoptive families.

​Responsibilities

Pick up or drop off dogs at specified locations and times

Follow transport protocols for safety and comfort

Maintain transport logs and temperature-controlled conditions
​​Requirements

Be 21 years and older

Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license

Ability to lift and secure crates and leashed dogs

Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, or weekend drives

Virtual Administrative Assistant

Behind every wag and tail wag is an organized team keeping everything running smoothly.
​Responsibilities

Enter adoption applications and medical records into our database

Coordinate volunteer schedules, training sessions, and event logistics

Support fundraising mailings, grant research, and general office tasks

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office or Google Workspace)

Attention to detail and clear, friendly communication skills

Rescue Advocate (Online & Offline)

Educating friends, family, and businesses about fostering and adoption

Familiarity with at least one social platform (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
